MIR

Mir is a small and beautiful town on the banks of Miranka river about 85 km southwest of Minsk. Interesting to note that its name is translated as “world” or “peace”.

But it is famous not because of its name, but because of the late medieval castle that lures thousands of tourists who want to learn more about history. The castle belonged to the Radziwill family, and it still saves tons of stories and legends as well as collections of amazing masterpieces that was collected by the noble family.
